CIC & Crane Institute of America

Crane Institute of America, is an innovator and the leading provider of crane training. Seeing a market need for accredited certification, Crane Institute of America started a new business to exclusively conduct accredited certifications.

The CIC Governing Committee independently oversees and sets the standards for the certifications. Governing Committee members have equal vote and set the standards for certification. In addition, the Crane Institute of America Certification has the benefit of an Advisory Board. The Advisory Board provides a wealth of expertise and a pool of future Governing Committee members.

While CIC will benefit from the knowledge and experience of Crane Institute of America, the training and certification divisions are completely independent organizations. Crane Institute of America will continue as the premier crane training company; and Crane Institute Certification does what its name implies; provides accredited operator certification exams to the crane industry.
