Conduct Exams

CIC is looking to expand its affiliation with qualified Examiners and Sites! CIC supports Examiners by providing professional-quality Examiner Training and a turnkey set of materials and process for conducting CIC exams. CIC provides training and a detailed Handbook for each role involved in administering exams. Examiners have a secure login on the CIC web site that supports their business and ability to be competent and efficient in conducting exams. Those roles include the following:

Practical Exam Site Coordinator - Coordinates the scheduling and proper set up for exams
Practical Examiner – Administers and oversees the Practical Exams at approved sites
Traveling Chief Written Examiner – Administers and oversees the written (paper or online) exam process

Proctors – Supports administration of the exams

According to NCCA accreditation guidelines, there are at least three important considerations for these roles

  1. First, the individual must understand the significant monetary value of the materials they will handle
  2. Second, the individual must thoroughly understand and be willing to follow all procedures that are in place, in order to ensure material security and exam administration reliability
  3. Trainiers are not allowed to be the Chief Written Examiners or written exam proctors

These are high-stakes exams!
