Conduct Exams
CIC is looking to expand its affiliation with qualified Examiners and Sites! CIC supports Examiners by providing professional-quality Examiner Training and a turnkey set of materials and process for conducting CIC exams. CIC provides training and a detailed Handbook for each role involved in administering exams. Examiners have a secure login on the CIC web site that supports their business and ability to be competent and efficient in conducting exams. Those roles include the following:
Practical Exam Site Coordinator - Coordinates the scheduling and proper set up for exams
Practical Examiner – Administers and oversees the Practical Exams at approved sites
Proctors – Supports administration of the exams
According to NCCA accreditation guidelines, there are at least three important considerations for these roles
- First, the individual must understand the significant monetary value of the materials they will handle
- Second, the individual must thoroughly understand and be willing to follow all procedures that are in place, in order to ensure material security and exam administration reliability
- Trainiers are not allowed to be the Chief Written Examiners or written exam proctors
These are high-stakes exams!
