WRITTEN EXAM SITE PREPARATION


Written Exam Site Preparation
Here are the main things that are necessary to prepare the exam facility for the day of the exam.
Provide directions to the exam:
- Post signs directing candidates to location of the exam
- Post signs for and set up sign-in area with reception area
Set up the exam room:
- Ensure that there is only one entrance to the exam room. Candidates must enter and exit through a single door
- Adequate space for Proctors to walk and observe candidates easily
- Seating at the front of the room for Proctors
- Ensure there are enough tables and chairs for the number of candidates registered
- Arrange all seats facing the same direction with spacing of at least four feet from center of desk to center of proximal desks or equivalent, if using long tables
- Rows of candidates should sit directly behind one another
- Ensure a functioning clock is visible at the front of the room
